After reviewing draft plans, Friends of Willamette Wetlands cannot support the
“Rivianna Beach'' (26 duplexes along 5th Ave) development, in the proposed location,
due to formidable accessibility constraints and unacceptable safety and environmental risks.

Per City of West Linn code, developments must be at least 100 feet from wetland borders.
Not only are the proposed duplex lots within100 feet of the wetlands,
they extend well past the wetland delineation border.
The city's development code includes language that is open to interpretation,
allowing the City to be more conservative in their decisions / requirements.
This is where our collective voices, as citizens, have power.
