THE WILLAMETTE WETLANDS OF WEST LINN

are less than a mile from the confluence of the Tualatin and Willamette Rivers.

The wetland drains into Bernert Creek, which feeds the Willamette River.

Bordered by 4th St. and 5th Avenue, this wetland is the largest in West Linn.

Look for the beaver pond downhill from the intersection of 4th St. and

5th Avenue, where the road becomes flat.  The proposed development area is

directly above the wetlands, along 5th Avenue; plans include twenty-six

duplex lots, each extending well past the 100 foot wetland buffer zone.

Home to a variety of animals and birds, this ecosystem is currently thriving.
